Orange Sunday
Orange Sunday
In the spirit, the color orange often symbolizes joy, renewed hope, creativity, and the fire of God’s presence that stirs passion and spiritual courage—bridging the warmth of red (God’s power and sacrifice) with the illumination of yellow (God’s light and revelation), calling believers to bold service, sacrificial love, and wholehearted worship.
Orange is also used as a visible emblem for leukemia and kidney cancer awareness, reminding us to pray for healing, support those who suffer, and bring compassionate action into our communities.

Sunday of Hats
Join us this Sunday as we celebrate "Hat Sunday" — a joyful time for fellowship, worship, and honoring the identity God gives each of us. Wear a favorite hat to church as a symbol of the roles and callings God places on our lives: servant, steward, witness, and child of God. Together we will lift praise, hear God’s Word, and encourage one another to walk boldly in Christ’s lordship.

The Right One Christmas Play
The Light at the Mall
Set in the bustling heart of a mall during the Christmas season, this play follows a group of shoppers, workers, and a mysterious visitor whose presence turns an ordinary day into a moment of divine revelation. As the mall fills with the noise of holiday sales and festive music, the characters—a stressed single mother, a weary store clerk, a skeptical businessman, and a child longing for hope—cross paths.
The unexpected arrival of a humble stranger, who shares a simple yet profound message about the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of Jesus Christ—begins to soften hearts and transform attitudes. Through acts of kindness, forgiveness, and faith, the mall becomes a living nativity scene where God's light shines amid the commercial rush.
The play emphasizes that despite the distractions and pressures of the season, the love of Christ is the ultimate gift, inviting all to reflect on salvation and share the joy of the Lord’s birth.

Labor Day is a meaningful reminder that our work is not just a duty to ourselves or society, but a calling from God. In Colossians 3:23, the Bible says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." This teaches us that all labor, whether big or small, is sacred when done with integrity and dedication.
God values the effort we put into our daily tasks, and He blesses those who work faithfully. On this Labor Day, let us honor the divine

Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday
Today, we gather with hearts full of joy as we celebrate Palm Sunday, the day Jesus triumphantly entered Jerusalem, greeted by crowds waving palm branches and shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Matthew 21:9).
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the journey toward the cross and the victory of the empty tomb. As we reflect on this moment, we remember that Jesus did not come as an earthly ruler seeking power, but as the humble King, riding on a donkey, bringing peace, love, and salvation to all who believe.
Just as the people of Jerusalem laid down their cloaks before Him, may we lay down our hearts in surrender, welcoming Jesus into our lives with true worship and devotion. Let us rejoice today, knowing that our King has come and His love never fails!
Hosanna in the highest!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Birthday
As we commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we must reflect deeply on the principles he championed, not only for a troubled world but for us as Christians. Dr. King epitomized the call of the Gospel—to love one another, to seek justice, and to stand against oppression. His life was a testament to the power of faith combined with action, urging us to remain steadfast in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Dr. King's commitment to nonviolence was rooted in his understanding of the teachings of Christ. He believed that love, even in the face of hatred, could transform hearts and societies. As Christians, we are called to embody this radical love in our own lives, to be the light in a world shrouded in darkness and despair. We must remember that our faith is not merely a personal journey but a collective call to promote justice and mercy in our communities.
His fight for civil rights was a reflection of the biblical mandate for justice. He dreamed of a nation where all people would be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. As believers, we too are called to challenge injustice wherever we see it, to lift the voices of the marginalized, and to be advocates for the oppressed. Let us honor Dr. King's legacy by committing ourselves to the teachings of Christ and the values he lived out. May we be courageous in our faith, unwavering in our pursuit of justice, and relentless in our quest to spread love in a world that desperately needs it. As we affirm our commitment to being light and salt, let us ensure that our actions reflect the heart of God, serving others and standing firm in the truth of His Word.
